 I have been researching THE LADY BE GOOD for about 15 years now
she is a B-24 liberator that went down in W W II and was found 16 years later
her crew walked for over 100 miles on a little more then a canteen of water and no food
when they found the plane the coffee in the thermos was still drinkable
some of the parts were used on other planes with grave consequences
leading the AAF to write a memo making it a rule that no part of the LGB could be used on any other plane.
